I'm a licensed massage therapist, a lifelong hard worker, and someone who knows what it's like to need your body to keep up with your life.
My path into massage therapy wasn't exactly a straight line. I started working in restaurants when I was 12 and spent years working long hours on my feet. Eventually, the back pain and stress caught up with me. Massage became something I turned to for relief, and somewhere along the way, I realized I wanted to be able to give other people that same feeling of being cared for. But I wanted to do it my way.
Sometimes you just know where you're supposed to be.
I walked into Sarasota School of Massage Therapy on a whim. Something told me I was supposed to be there.
I graduated in June 2022 and went straight into professional practice, working with Massage BarHarbor in Maine. That experience taught me a lot not just about massage, but about the kind of practitioner I wanted to become.
Eventually, I found myself back in Florida and realized something pretty important: I was willing to show up for everyone else. So why wasn't I showing up for myself? That question eventually led me to create Aligned Elements Bodywork.
I don't believe massage should feel like an assembly line. You shouldn't walk in, get the exact same routine someone else received, and walk out wondering whether anyone actually paid attention to what your body needed.
The room matters.
Noticing patterns.
The temperature matters.
The sheets matter.
Making small changes.
The hot towels matter.
The conversation before the session matters.
Making small changes.
And most importantly, you matter.
That's why I take the time to understand what you're experiencing, what you want from your session, and whether I'm actually the right person to help. Because not every client is for me. And that's okay.

My training includes a variety of bodywork approaches, including:
Myofascial work
Intraoral work
Abdominal work

I don't believe in using a technique just because it's the technique I happen to be good at. The goal is to choose the tools that make sense for the person in front of me. Sometimes that means deeper work. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the most useful thing we can do is slow down and pay attention.
One of the things I love most about this work is seeing what happens when people start paying attention to their bodies consistently.
I've had clients come in only when something hurt. An elbow one time. A shoulder the next. Eventually, one client started coming in more consistently instead of waiting for the next problem to show up. Over time, her monthly sessions became less about chasing whatever hurt that week and more about maintaining how she felt.
That's the kind of progress I love seeing. Not because I want you dependent on massage. Quite the opposite.
I want you to understand your body better. To notice patterns. To recognize what your habits might be telling you. And to have tools you can use outside the treatment room, too.
Who spend way too much time sitting.
Who spend long shifts taking care of everyone else.
Who are constantly moving, standing, bending, and carrying the weight of a busy day.
Who somehow manage to put themselves last.
Who care about staying strong and taking care of their bodies.
Whose work doesn't leave much room for slowing down.
And people who simply want to become more aware of their bodies and make self-care a consistent part of their lives.
You don't have to fit neatly into one category.
You just need to value thoughtful, individualized care.

I'm not interested in convincing you that every massage needs to be intense.
I'm not interested in treating "if it didn't hurt, it didn't work" as a philosophy.
And I'm definitely not interested in pretending one technique works for everyone.
I'm interested in the person on the table.
What you're experiencing. What your body is communicating. What you've been doing every day. What you need from the session.

Pay attention to the patterns, habits, and physical demands that shape how you move through life.
Use thoughtful, individualized bodywork to address areas of tension and help you reconnect with your body.
Create space for ongoing self-care, body awareness, and consistency beyond a single appointment.
That's what Aligned Elements means to me. It's not about chasing perfection. It's about creating a better relationship with your body.
Massage is personal.
You should feel comfortable with the person you're trusting with your body, and I want the same thing from the other side of the table. If what I'm offering lines up with what you're looking for, I'd love to work with you. And if it doesn't, I'll be honest about that, too.
